In a largely family effort, Matt Jones directed the winning entry in the short film competition. Entrants were required to produce a 3 minute film in 48 hours with the subject being a single line of dialogue that had to be included. "That wasn't meant to happen!" proved to be inspirational. Matt had gathered a team which included 6 year old Theo who proved to be a fantastic learner and ever-cheerful performer during the hectic schedule. I was delighted to provide the film score and rehearse and direct our young actor in his solo performance. 

The team shared ideas about the story-line during the first evening following the 7pm launch. By the following morning we had our story, our actors lined up, the music and essential closing song sorted. The next few hours were spent on film location with Matt inspiring all to provide their best in spite of some challenging Scottish weather!  

This was an immense challenge and we are thrilled to have had our efforts recognised with this award. It was an exhausting effort but also great fun to do. Well done to everyone involved!
