 | Online and live performances Together we provide community music-making events and are particularly keen on providing entertainment to the elderly. Having experienced months of lockdown and isolation we have come to appreciate that many people, especially the elderly, have a great need for the emotional warmth and therapy that community singing can provide. We can offer these singalong programmes throughout the year and, when the lockdown finally ends, live! |
 | Scottish dance, music, and song We are able to provide music for special events and Scottish occasions including St Andrew’s Day and Burns’ Night. Bill has extensive experience of singing Burns songs. |
 | Jazz As trombonist, pianist, arranger and singer Bill has years of experience as a jazz band member and leader. He loves playing New Orleans, trad, Swing and anything that makes the audience smile and want to dance! Recent engagements have included Whigham's Jazz Bar and a wonderful night at the Linlithgow Jazz Club as well as regular gigs at the Edinburgh Jazz and Jive Club with The Joy of Jazz, Mike Daly's Rhythm KIngs and his own Renaissance Swing Band. Later this year he will be a featured player at the Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival and in October, he will be bringing his band of some of Scotland's finest jazz musicians to the Cumnock Tryst. |
 | Wedding music Bill and Hilary are perhaps uniquely able to provide music for all your needs for a wedding celebration. As directors of music in church we can provide bespoke ideas for wedding services as well as fixing the entertainments for your wedding celebrations. We are keen to work with you to provide the music you want and love for your special day. |
 | Care home sing-alongs We have shared the pain of seeing those close to us live with dementia and have developed a real passion for bringing music to the elderly and especially those suffering from any of the varied forms of dementia. We believe that music and especially community singing offer a wonderful therapy to those who suffer. We provide online and in-person live performances. Since 2023, we have been providing monthly singalongs at The Alzheimer Centre in Glasgow, in association with Cappella Nova Outreach Initiative. It is such a privilege to sing with the care home residents and their carers and witness the joy the music brings. Please contact us to make a booking. |
