Ready to sing again... in care homes

We have, in fact, been fortunate visitors to some of our favourite care homes in recent weeks, in order to provide some entertaining singalongs for the residents even before the latest guidance was announced this week. I should add that all Covid protocol was thoroughly observed. In my mother's care home last week, Hilary and I led the residents (from behind the protective screens) in some hearty singing and it is evident that those with dementia especially receive such an emotional boost when they hear and sing along to their favourite melodies. My own mother does not recognise me but she does know the words of the songs! With our mix of jazz, classical, Scottish fiddle tunes and community songs we are very keen to make contact with new care homes as restrictions are relaxed. We can provide both online and live singalongs.
