Historic Music at St Michael's Church
11th November 2021
It is a well-known fact that Mary Queen of Scots was born in the Palace of Linlithgow and that she was baptised in the church next door: St Michael's. I was lucky enough to be part of Cappella Nova for a number of years and 30-odd years ago we recorded all of Robert Carver's sacred works and, later, a delightful album of sacred music for Mary Queen of Scots. I have fond memories of the music and the wonderful acoustics of this fine church.Visit Cappella Nova's website for more information...
